Building a Council of Change

You are invited to join our unique DD Advisory Council in Columbia County. We are embarking on a new and innovative approach to collaboration. Our council aims to bring together a diverse group of individuals from various backgrounds and expertise to offer their insights and wisdom. Together, we will work towards finding creative solutions to the challenges individuals with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities face and make informed decisions that benefit our county. Our Projects

EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS GRANT

The council's first initiative is to allocate $118,000 in grant funds that will equip CDDP Clients in Columbia County with the necessary resources to prepare for various emergencies, ranging from freezing temperatures to power outages. This council will ensure that the clients feel empowered to face any emergency that may arise. Their dedication to preparedness underscores their commitment to the welfare and safety of all CDDP clients in Columbia County.
